Brian was born on July 21st, seventy five years to the day, after Ernest Hemingway. Like his literary idol, he grew up on and under and always at the edge of water.

His first publication came when he was twelve years old, and then again at age nineteen. "The first poem was what you'd expect of a kid," he says, "but the next one... there was something in there that I wanted to say."

"My Father Swings Again" won second place in The North American Open Poetry Contest and received an Editor's Choice Award.

After college (and a few years wandering the world as a model), Brian caught the acting bug and headed west to Hollywood.

He found quick work in TV and film, most notably representing popular brands in commercials (a sample of which can be viewed below). When asked what roles he's most proud of, he says, "if you don't blink, and you know where to look, you can see me on that show Friends. It was hardly even a role really, but I was there on that set, ya know, and I got to feel what it felt like standing on top of that show's mountain."

Currently, he and his wife live on a 21 acre farm in Florida where they free range a pair of donkeys, a flock of chickens, and two of the wildest boys in the universe.
